What is happening globally on the women social entrepreneur scene? (yeah, outside of the UK!) Women@TheTable decided to find out and moderate a discussion about current cutting edge triumphs and challenges and we enlisted an extraordinary list of fearless & effective women entrepreneurs each moving the needle in a profound way.
So, we found ourselves on the Fringe at the Skoll World Forum on Entrepreneurship, in Oxford, in April, at Marmalade at Arts at the Old Fire Station speaking to these amazing women, all of whom are using cutting edge technology to reconnect the human, help make women find their power, and drive the conversation to a new space.
Meagan Fallone, CEO, Barefoot College:
taking Barefoot’s revolutionary rural model around the world,
Musimbi Kanyoro, CEO, Global Fund for Women:
closing the gender tech gap for women worldwide,
Jensine Larsen, CEO & Founder, World Pulse:
creating a global digital women’s community,
Antonella Notari Vischer, Director, Womanity Foundation:
replicating & scaling programs in Afghanistan, Brazil, MENA,
Sharon Bylenga, Founder, Media Matters For Women:
networking cellphones into portable radio stations,
Moderated by Caitlin Kraft-Buchman, Women@theTable: because a woman’s place is at the decision-making table.
Our panelists proved to be visionary, funny, warm, brilliant.
Effective and badass women making waves and changing lives on the global social entrepreneur scene. We are so grateful that they joined us and shared both their wisdom and joy!
