A Feminist Civic Infrastructure for the Digital Future
At Women at the Table, we build the systems that make systems change possible. Through deep collaboration and feminist design, we’ve cultivated a powerful ecosystem of initiatives — the A+ Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms and the AI & Equality Toolbox — that serve as a civic infrastructure layer for digital public infrastructure (DPI). Together, we advance inclusive governance, with human rights-based ethical technology at a systems level.
A+ Alliance for Inclusive Algorithms
Incubated by Women at the Table, the A+ Alliance is a global coalition of policymakers, technologists, and feminist thinkers working to ensure that algorithms reflect the diversity and dignity of the people they impact.
Focus: Inclusive algorithmic governance, global AI advocacy, digital rights.
AI & Equality Initiative
The Toolbox translates our vision into action. It offers concrete tools and frameworks to embed feminist human rights-based principles and intersectional thinking into the design and governance of algorithmic systems.
Focus: Normative design, technical standards for inclusive AI.
