Women at the Table is focusing on Data Gaps/Challenges: Spotlight AI which will provide an overview of fast moving and profound digitalization in all parts of the globe, and why and how there is an urgent need for accountable algorithms and machine learning systems designed with and from a gender perspective.
We will support stakeholders to think critically and with a multidisciplinary focus on taking control of the new tools, the need for new social protection models using new methods of data and knowledge production, policy and program design, and the possibilities of cooperation and activism for gender equality, women’s rights and intersectionality through the prism of data-driven technologies, innovation & AI: algorithmic decision making.
