Women at the Table

Fund the instruments that make AI accountable — and the rooms where they become law.

For ten years, Women at the Table has built the technical instruments — benchmarks, toolboxes, impact assessments — that test whether AI systems hold up against human rights obligations, and carried the findings into the rooms where standards get written: the WTO, the ITU, the Council of Europe, the UN Human Rights Council. Based in Geneva, where most of those rooms are.

Our pilot benchmark for human rights reasoning in large language models was published and recognised at ICML this year. Our Human Rights Impact Assessment condenses the Council of Europe’s hundred-page HUDERIA methodology into eight pages a development team can use — as readily by corporations and public agencies in Europe and North America as by partners in Africa and Latin America.

Donor-advised funds

Recommend a grant from your Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, Daffy or Charityvest account to:

Myriad USA
EIN 58-2277856
551 Fifth Avenue, Suite 2400, New York, NY 10176
Grant purpose: Women@TheTable

Myriad USA holds our American Friends Fund and is already recognised by Fidelity Charitable and other major sponsors, so the grant should process without special handling.

Please tell us at [email protected] when you recommend a grant.

DAF sponsors frequently pass funds without donor contact details, and we’d like to thank you properly.

Workplace matching

If you work at Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Adobe or most large technology companies, your employer probably matches charitable gifts — often one to one, sometimes more, frequently up to $10,000 a year. Most employees never use it.

Appreciated stock and equity

If you hold vested RSUs or appreciated shares, donating the shares directly — rather than selling and giving the proceeds — avoids capital gains on the appreciation and deducts at full market value. For anyone holding technology equity with a low cost basis, this is usually the largest gift available at the lowest real cost.

Write to Caitlin Kraft-Buchman at [email protected] to arrange a transfer. Please confirm treatment with your own tax adviser, as it depends on your holding period and circumstances.

Larger and multi-year gifts

For gifts above $10,000, sponsorship of a specific programme, or multi-year commitments, write to Caitlin Kraft-Buchman at [email protected]. We are happy to talk through where a gift lands and what it makes possible.
