This discussion is dedicated to exploring how civil society, academia, survivors, and other stakeholders can contribute to strengthening the implementation of the Inter-American Model Law and shaping practical recommendations for internet intermediaries to prevent and respond to technology-facilitated gender-based violence against women.

This event will bring together senior government officials, representatives of international organizations, technology companies, academia, and civil society with the objective of advancing the participatory drafting process of the Practical Guidelines for Internet Intermediaries. The Guidelines are intended to serve as a practical tool to support the implementation of the Inter-American Model Law and facilitate the incorporation of human rights and gender-responsive standards into the internal policies and operational practices of internet intermediaries.
